The award winning wine has all of the desirable features of a cool climate shiraz. It has a beautiful bright red colour with purple hues that is most appealing, as is its vibrant shiraz fruit nose.
The wine is both delicate and elegant. It has a full mouth feel to it with lovely fruit flavours that envelop the palate.
The taste is of dark forest berries, raspberry with a silky mid palate that leads to a red and black pepper spice finish.
The lovely pepper characters are indicative of a cool climate shiraz grown at 900 metres above sea level. The wine has a lingering back palate of savoury tannins.
This wine will continue to develop over the next 10 to 15 years of its life.
This wine won a Gold Medal in the 2017 NSW Wine Awards.

Smell: An abundance of fresh spices greet the nose – white and black pepper, clove and star anise with an equally rich bouquet of ripe raspberries, Damson plumbs and dark cherries. Hints of warm earth and mocha chocolate add further interest.
